Fees and Payment Terms

* A proof of status will be required; a copy of either the international student ID-card (ISIC) or a university card is requested to be emailed to the Conference Secretariat at with the subject “Student fee”. Otherwise, a student registration fee payment will not be possible.

The Academic, Non-Academic and Student fees include:

  • Admission to the scientific programme of the symposium including the plenary, workshop and poster sessions, and the exhibition
  • Programme Book with the list of sessions, participants and exhibitors
  • Symposium bag and materials
  • Opening & Closing Ceremonies
  • Welcome Cocktail
  • Coffee Breaks
  • Lunches
  • Concert of classical music
  • Free public transport ticket (received at the registration desk and valid during the entire event)

The accompanying person´s fee includes:

  • Opening & Closing Ceremonies
  • Welcome Cocktail
  • Concert of classical music
  • Guided sightseeing tour of Prague
  • Free public transport ticket (received at the registration desk and valid during the entire event)

Please note that the regular participant must be registered first; any accompanyig person may be registered in next step. For each accompanying person a separate registration form should be completed.

Conference Dinner

Price: 1,500 CZK

The conference dinner will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Monastery restaurant Strahov beginning at 8 p.m.
If necessary, the conference dinner cancellation must be sent via email at till August 10, 2017; a cancellation fee of 500 CZK will be retained). After August 10, 2017, no refunds will be possible.


All registration fees include VAT (tax) and should be paid in Czech crowns (CZK) only by one of the two following methods:

1. Credit Card

For payments through the Online Payment System, only MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, and Diners Club credit cards are acceptable. All credit card payments are processed via the GP webpay secure connection. GP webpay conforms to international standards and meets the strictest safety requirements of the MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by VISA standards as defined by the MasterCard and VISA card associations. These standards are designated as 3D Secure and they ensure maximum payment security.

In the case of the rejected credit/debit card payment on-line, the registration will not be processed by the Conference Secretariat. It is recommended that the participant contacts the credit/debit card issuer/bank first and makes sure that the online transaction option is not disabled. When fixed, you may return to the conference registration page and retry your payment.

2. Bank Wire Transfer

Bank wire transfer was available only for regular registrations (until July 25, 2017).

Payment terms

Deadline for the regular registration payment is July 25, 2017. After this date you have to pay the higher (late/on-site) registration fee.

The payment should be made within two weeks after the completion of the Registration form. Please be aware that your registration will be considered as valid only when paid in full (clear of all bank charges). Upon successful payment (reception of the payment on the Conference bank account) by either of the two methods you will receive a confirmatory email from the Conference Secretariat. Subsequently, the invoice will be issued and sent via email to the email address stated in the registration form.
Late registration fee should be paid by credit/debet card only.

If you do not receive the invoice within 2 weeks or should you need an additional information, please feel free to contact the Conference Secretariat at It is highly recommended to bring this invoice (or its copy) with you and present it during the registration process on-site to our staff as a proof of your registration. The registration summary sent to you after filling in and submitting the online registration form cannot be accepted as a proof of your registration.

To be able to participate at the Conference neither oral nor poster contribution is required. However, when you intend to present a contribution submit your abstract before you start the registration process, please. You will be asked to fill your abstract number in the online registration form. This will help the Organisers to identify abstracts that will not be covered by at least one registration fee. Such abstracts will not be included in the Abstract book.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be sent to the Conference Secretariat via email at The administrative manipulation fee of 1350 CZK will be retained if the registration is cancelled before July 26, 2017. Thereafter, no refunds will be possible. Please note that all refunds will be processed after the conclusion of the Conference. An official Terms and Conditions file can be viewed here.
