Opening Ceremony and Welcome Cocktail

The 28th ICYGMB will start Sunday, 27th August 2017 at 6.00 p.m. with an Opening Ceremony taking place in the Forum Hall on the 2nd floor of the Prague Congress Centre. The Welcome Cocktail will follow and will take place at the Congress Hall foyer on the 2nd floor.

Optional tours

Wednesday, 30th August 2017 there will be a free afternoon in the Conference programme and participant can take an advantage of optional sightseeing tours (more details coming soon).

Concert of classical music

Wednesday, 30th August 2017 starting from 6.00 p.m., there will be a concert of classical music organised for registered participants and accompanying persons in the Church of St. Simon and Jude (view the location on map), a concert hall of the Prague Symphony Orchestra.

Conference dinner

The Conference dinner will take place on Thursday, 31th August 2017 at the Monastery restaurant Strahov (view the location on map) beginning at 8 p.m.

Please note that Conference dinner (1,500 CZK, ~ 50 EUR) is not included in the registration fee. If necessary, the Conference dinner cancellation must be sent via email at yeast2017@biomed.cas.cz till August 10, 2017. A cancellation fee of 500 CZK (~ 19 EUR) will be retained. After August 10, 2017, no refunds will be possible.

Tours for accompanying persons

A guided sightseeing tour of Prague will be organised for accompanying persons Tuesday, 29th August 2017. More details will follow soon.

Closing ceremony

The 28th ICYGMB will conclude with the Closing Ceremony Friday, 1st September 2017 after the morning plenary sessions (ca at 1–2 p.m.).
